Assignment 2: Portfolio Review

Activity 2.1 exploring your own online system
Activity 2.2 thinking about accessing your system
    Activity 2.3 computer mediated communication
    Activity 2.4 training needs
Activity 2.5 record keeping and monitoring
    Activity 2.6 problem solving
Activity 2.7 online learning support techniques
    Activity 2.8 contacting learners
    Activity 2.9 rapport building
    Activity 2.10 social interaction issues
Activity 2.11 scheduling and negotiating contact

If you have been working (via any route - the activities are the same) on the activities in study section 2, you have probably already accumulated important evidence for your portfolio. At this point, now that the induction process has been documented, you should review the progress of your portfolio.

Begin by revisiting the activities listed above and check that you have submitted evidence, where appropriate, for each of the activities. Or have similar evidence.

Remember that your evidence may come from previous learning programmes/courses you have supported online or may occasionally be based on a hypothetical situation. You may also have had to adapt the activities to match your own situation. Once your portfolio is complete to this point, you should contact your facilitator.

Your facilitator will tell you how to submit your portfolio, or part of it, for review. This review will provide you with an evaluation of your current portfolio and offer guidance for its further development.

Please remember that this assignment is not the assessment. Assessment 2 requires a portfolio of evidence that meets as many of the pc's and evidence requirements as possible for outcomes 2 and 3, along with a commentary that makes it explicit what meets what.
